Released in 1982 on the Atari 2600 release, Haunted House challenges you to explore the many rooms of the large, dark mansion of the late Zachery Graves searching for three pieces of an urn. You have nine lives to find them all and escape from the house, but they're easy to lose because if you run into one of the many evil spirits, bats, or tarantulas in the house they will steal a life from you. Even the ghost of Mr. Graves himself will seek you out.
